My name is Maddie, sometimes Mads, if I am in feeling really proper, Madeleine.
I have taken many titles, waitress, admin, fog horn, front end developer, graphic designer, UX/UI designer, games night hostess. Many titles, many names.
I simply consider myself a designer. A board term, with endless possibilities.
Personal Projects
Finding ways to use my hands
In my personal time, usually the last thing I want to do is be on the computer. Over the last year I have created surfboard bags (another word?), crafted and designed skateboards and played around with t-shirt design.
UI/UX Work
Since graduating from the University of Queensland in July 2016 with a Bachelor of Information Technology, over the past four years, I have worked for companies that specialise in education, insurance and financial products, within cross-functional teams.
My experience ranges from scaling a design system, user testing, tutoring students, communication to internal stakeholders, user testing, constant iteration of designs and working closely with developers to produce the end product.
